Intel is directly competing in the AI race. The famous chip maker expects the upcoming generation of Intel processors to be capable of running AI applications.
Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger says the AI-capable computer systems will be available in 2024. While speaking at the developer event in San Jose, the Intel CEO unveiled all their plans for the next-generation AI PC.
These upcoming AI-capable PCs will use the Intel Core Ultra Processor named Meter Lake. The shipment of these processors will start in December. The new PCs will include power-efficient AI acceleration and local inference.
These computers will change the direction of personal computers. These will allow end users to run AI applications on local computers rather than connecting to the data cloud.
