The photo editing and sharing social media platform Snapchat is all set to release some new features, including AI reminders.
The new features, including new emoji reactions, chat edits, AI reminders, and new map reactions, will roll out in a few weeks. Initially, they will be available to Snapchat Plus users only.
The official Snapchat blog post stated that Plus subscribers will soon be able to edit messages within five minutes after sending them. Currently, no such feature is available. If a user makes a mistake in the message, there is no rollback. With the upcoming chat edit feature, users must tap the message for a long time, and the edit mode will appear.
Similarly, Snapchat users will have a feature to move ahead from the Bitmojis, as standard emojis will be able to react.
The third and most essential feature that is supposed to roll out in the coming weeks is the addition of AI-powered reminders. Snapchat calls it “My AI,” which can set up reminders and will work like any calendar app.
