Apple’s team is preparing for the first release of the Apple Vision Pro headset in early 2024. This could be in January or anytime before March. Apple has disclosed the expected launch date and stated it could be early in 2024.
January is mainly a holiday, so the release date might be February 2024. In the Bloomberg newsletter, Mark Gurman details the retail operation efforts for introducing Apple Vision Pro and the product selling to the public.
To refer to his previous thoughts, he quoted that Apple Vision Pro shipments were expected in March 2024. The select employees’ training at Apple Park will start in January. Then, these employees will return to the respective retail stores to train employees of physical stores at Apple retail.
According to Gurman, each employee at Apple Park will reach out in the middle of the month and get two days of detailed training before returning home.
He further added that the company wants each employee to get personal training as Apple wants “carefully orchestrated” to deal with customers for the first kind of product.
Customers can pre-order Apple Vision Pro headsets, and once their order arrives at the nearest store (selected store), they will be notified to pick up their headset from the store.
