Former PM of Pakistan Imran Khan Delivered AI Generated Speech to a Rally

Pakistan’s former premier, Imran Khan delivered artificial intelligence-generated speech to his party workers in a virtual rally.

Currently in prison in several cases, Imran Khan delivered AI AI-originated speech to address an online rally. Although this practice is normal in other regions, in Pakistan, it is the first event of this kind.

AI-generated audio clip was four minutes long where he addressed his supporters virtually on Sunday night. The clip was voice-covered on a video containing photos from PTI’s previous rallies.

According to claims of PTI leadership, the virtual rally gathered more than five million views on social media platforms including Twitter (X), Facebook, and YouTube. During the rally time, social media networks were blocked in most of the country.

The virtual rally decision came after the government banned public rallies. The motto of the rally is to gear up the workers and supporters for upcoming elections scheduled in the second month of 2024.
