Apple’s Designer headed to LoveFrom to work with Jony Ive on AI Devices

According to a Bloomberg report, Tang Tan, Apple’s lead designer, is leaving the company in February 2024. According to the circulated information, Tan is traveling to LoveFrom to see Jony Ive at the AI meetup.

Tan will collaborate with OpenAI’s Sam Altman and Jony Ive at LoveFrom to “work on a new artificial intelligence hardware project,” according to a Bloomberg story.

This follows September’s story by The Information, in which Ive and Altman discussed working together on a hardware project that would have included OpenAI technology.

Tan will oversee hardware engineering at LoveFrom for this artificial intelligence hardware project. Tan is currently the vice president of product design at Apple, responsible for the design of Apple’s iPhone and Watch series.
