Nothing’s creator Carl Pei had earlier in the month stated that plans to sell the phone in the United States were “in negotiation.”
Nothing OS 1.5 Beta, the phone maker’s proprietary Android 13 software, will be tested in the United States, according to Founder Carl Pei.
It’s Pei’s second public announcement this month promising a phone release in the United States.
The business claimed earlier this year that the phone will not be heading to North America, and it’s unclear whether that has changed or if he’s aiming an undisclosed smartphone for the US market.
With Nothing claiming to have sold 500,000 phones without US access, it may be in a better position to bargain with Verizon, T-Mobile, and AT&T than it was a year ago.
Nothing Phone 1 was released in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia early this year.
