Apple Released iOS 14 beta 8 and iPadOS 14 beta 8 for Developers

September is always a busy month for the world’s top smartphone, software, and laptop manufacturer, Apple Inc. This year, the same continues for the company. They have announced plenty of events for September 15, 2020. The company is also busy in launching the beta versions of iOS 14 and iPadOS 14.

A day ago, the company launched the 8th update to the iOS 14 and iPadOS 14. The eighth edition of betas for the mentioned operating systems is available for the developers.

Looking at the trend of beta releases, this is the third straight week where the company releases a new beta of iOS 14. Apple dropped iOS 14 beta 6 on August 25, 2020, and iOS 14 beta 7 on September 3, 2020. Now they have announced the 8th beta in the second week of September of their famous operating system.

As the iPhone 12 launch is delayed by a month or two, and looking at the trend of beta releases from the last few weeks, we are expecting a  couple of betas for the same.

iOS 14 Beta 8 and iPadOS 14 Beta 8 Compatable Devices

Apple iOS 14 beta 8 and iPad OS 14 is available for the major devices. It can be used on major software of the company which includes iPhone 11 family (11 Pro, Pro Max), iPhone X, XR, XS Max, XS, iPhone 8 & 8 Plus, iPhone 7 & 7 Plus, iPhone 6s & 6s Plus, iPhone SE 1st & 2nd Generation, iPod Touch 7th Generation, iPad Pro 12.9 Inch 4th Generation, iPad Pro 11 Inch 2nd Generation, iPad Pro 12.9 Inche 1st & 2nd Generation, iPad Air 2, iPad Air 3rd Generation, iPad Mini 4, iPad mini 5th Generation, iPad 5th, 6th & 7th Generation, iPad Pro 9.7 Inch, and iPad Pro 10.5 Inch.

The update can be installed on the iPad or iPhone through system settings. To do so, head over to Settings, then General tab and just click on Software Update from there. After clicking on Software Update, you will see “Download and Install”, click on it and all done.

The update can also be installed from iTunes. To do it in this way, you just need to connect your iOS device with your computer. In either way, just make sure you keep the backup of your mobile data. In this way, you will be on the safe side if something unwanted happens.
