The Google-owned video-sharing platform YouTube has recently announced the release of a new artificial intelligence-powered feature for content creators.

The new AI-powered feature will allow content creators to create AI videos and image backgrounds for short videos, also known as YouTube Shorts.

The YouTube VP for community products, Toni Reid, said that new features on YouTube have been announced to help content creators create better videos by giving prompts.

The new AI-enabled part of YouTube will help edit and develop short and long videos on the video-sharing platform. To compete with TikTok and Instagram, YouTube introduced Shorts on its platform.

Furthermore, to simplify things, YouTube announced a new mobile app called YouTube Create to help content creators.

The latest update contains features like editing, trimming videos, automatic captioning, AI-based voiceover, filters, and picture background creation. The quality is now in the testing phase.
