WhatsApp is No Longer Working on These Older Android Versions

For older Android phone users, things are getting alarming as WhatsApp will start working on certain older Android phones.

From today, 24 October 2023, WhatsApp will not work on your Android phone if it runs on Android OS 5.0 Lollipop or older.

The Meta-owned instant messaging app had already issued some warnings about the older version of the Google-owned operating system for smartphones.

So from today, you will need Android 5.0 or newer to run WhatsApp and chat with friends and family.
