WhatsApp is Working on a Secret Code Creation Feature for Locked Chats

WhatsApp the instant messaging and video calling app is working on the development of a chat lock feature that will allow users to hide locked chats from others.

Less than a month ago, there were reports that WhatsApp was introducing a secret code feature for securing locked chats in the chat history.

According to the report shared by WABetaInfo, the famous messaging app is working on the said feature that will help end users hide their chats.

As of now, the locked chats are visible in the list and can be accessed by anyone who has the phone.

After the development of this feature, users can eliminate the entry point to locked chats by using a secret code in the search bar.

All the secret chats can be accessed using a passkey only, hence it will give you maximum privacy for your personal and important chats.
