Reddit now lets users search for comments within posts on its app and website

Last year, Reddit introduced a significant improvement to its search technology, which included the ability to discover comments across the social network.

Reddit unveiled another tweak to its search algorithm this week.

The most recent upgrade, however, allows users to search for comments within individual postings. Because people have to use Command + F to look for comments on the web. Reddit’s latest redesign, though, includes a search option that works within each post.

The new comment search is available on Reddit’s website as well as its iOS and Android applications. The new feature, according to Reddit, will make it much easier for its users to identify relevant comments on the social network.

“We’ve been listening to your feedback, and you can now search comments within a post on desktop, iOS, and Android applications,” a Reddit user said.
