Islamabad (News): Pakistan has officially approved the development of the country’s largest technology park. According to reports, the park’s establishment is proposed in Islamabad near the G-10 sector of the capital.
The technology park will be on 3.3 acres of land. This Special Investment Facilitation Committee decision is a step forward for the country’s technology needs and software export.
Millions of freelancers and IT experts in Pakistan need opportunities to showcase their strengths to the global audience. The project is in the initial stages, and talks are being held with two significant bodies: the Ministry of Information Technology & Telecom and the Pakistan Software Export Board.
These two bodies will be responsible for making the project successful. In Islamabad, there are more than 50 universities where thousands of students graduate yearly.
This project will help them find jobs, start their tech startups, and then show it on global platforms and conferences. The proposed project will facilitate more than 6000 tech experts and freelancers with advanced equipment and nonstop services.
The country’s largest IT Park will be constructed through the collaboration of private software houses and companies.
