IBM Will Train 800 People in Cyber Security and Artificial Intelligence

Based on the announcement from the company, IBM will train 800 IT professionals in the next year in the fields of AI and cyber security. The training is part of the new program.

The IBM Training program is part of the SkillsFuture Singapore a government effort to give training in 30,000 places to the individuals in the next year. This was announced in May 2020.

The Education minister of Singapore while speaking to IBM said that from 30,000, 18,000 places are developed by IBM and other similar employers and training providers.

While talking about the response, there is a strong interest shown by individuals and around 15,000 people have shown interest so far in the training.

The IBM initiative for AI and Cyber Security also known as i.am-vitalize, offers courses in the said areas that will conclude in the six months.

The participants of the program will complete some introductory modules in the first 2 and half months before going to the main modules of the courses.

The IBM AI and Cyber Security course costs 500$ and trainees will get 1,500$ allowance on monthly bases.
