Govee, a developer of smart home accessories, has announced the release of a new two-meter LED Strip Light that is Matter-certified and compatible with Apple HomeKit, Google Home, and other smart home systems that use matter.

Govee is collaborating with Google on the light strip, yet it is compatible with HomeKit devices due to matter support. Because Matter is a local networking protocol, Govee claims that connectivity will be more dependable, with faster reaction times and enhanced data security.
