Apple Upgrading iPhone 16 Microphone to Enhance Siri AI Experience

Revealed by Apple tech analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the iPhone 16 microphone is getting a major upgrade to improve the Siri experience.

The microphone upgrade to iPhone 16 came to promote AI generated content and improve the Siri experience.

While giving his insights in a blog post, Kuo explained that working on the improvement of Siri’s hardware and software features and other specifications will help us to promote the AI-generated content.

Apple’s vision of integrating generative AI and large language models (LLMs) into Siri will improve the voice commands in iPhones.

Apple is working on various elements of the iPhone 16 microphone, such as improving signal to noise ratio is one of the core things to happen to iPhone 16 microphones.

The new Siri features powered by LLMs are expected to launch in the upcoming version of iPhone’s OS i.e. the iOS 18.
