AirDrop in iOS 17.2 Let You Share Boarding Passes, Movie Tickets, and More

The new update of iOS 17.2 will bring iPhone users a new feature like NameDrop that will allow iPhone users to share movie tickets, boarding passes, and other wallet passes with other iPhone users.

To use this feature, iPhone users will need to navigate to the Wallet app and then tap on the pass that they want to share with another iPhone user quickly. You can hold your iPhone near other iPhones, just like in NameDrop.

A share button will appear; tapping the share button will send the pass to other iPhones via AirDrop. To use this feature, both sender and receiver iPhones must have iOS 17.2.

This new feature will overcome the issue of sharing such items using AirDrop, Messages App, Mail, or any other sharing app. This is a quicker way and is more convenient.

This new feature is also mentioned in the release note of iOS 17.2. The new update of iOS 17 is in the beta stages, and it will be available by early next week.
