Apple Releases iOS 17 & iPadOS 17 Third Beta

Apple releases the third beta version of the upcoming iOS 17 and iPadOS 17 to developers, testers as well as other non-developer communities to test the operating system before the official launch next month.

It is important to know that the third beta of Apple OS is released only after two weeks the second beta was released. The OS 17 beta contains the same features that were present in the fifth developer beta version.

Beta testers who are signed up for the beta testing program of Apple now can download the third beta versions of iOS 17 and iPadOS 17. This can be done by going to the Settings App on iPhone or iPad, then opening the General tab and tapping on the Software Update section. Toggle the iOS 17 or iPad OS 17 public beta option on the respective device.

There are some new features added in the iOS 17 such as the new stand-by option for iPhone. This option displays the time, live activities, notifications, and some other important widgets.

Furthermore, in iOS 17, from the lock screen, users can control some widgets, check reminders, and do other important things without opening the app. There are also some improvements in the autocorrect feature and it is now more intelligent than previous versions.

AirDrop’s new version, the NameDrop feature is also added that helps in sharing contact with another iPhone nearby. The Messages app is also redesigned and also a new Check-In feature is added.

This new feature is added to check if you have reached your destination safely. There are also changes to the FaceApp and some new features are also added to the Health app.
