After announcing the iOS 17 release date, Apple is now releasing iOS 17 Beta 2 for its developers and testers. The iOS 17 Beta 2 comes with redesigned update screen. There is more information added to the update screen. Many other new features from Beta 1 were announced at the WWDC earlier this month.
There are also changes to the Apple AirDrop feature. iPhone users may touch the device to start the file transfer through AirDrop. There is a new micro-location in the iPhone location app. This new MicroLocation provides more information about a location.
There are also changes to the Messages app. The check-In feature is updated with an option to send limited or full location data to contacts when you reach a particular location. You can turn off all the notifications on the standby mode, but most important messages will be displayed while your phone is on stand-by mode.
