Apple has launched new MacBook Air models with the latest M3 chip. The laptops are available in 13-inch and 15-inch sizes.
The 13-inch model starts at a price of $1,099, while the 15-inch variant begins at $1,299, making them accessible options for those seeking high-performance computing.
What sets these new MacBook Air models apart is their impressive features. With an M3 chip under the hood, users can expect faster CPU and GPU performance, as well as an upgraded Neural Engine for enhanced AI capabilities.
Battery life is a standout feature, boasting up to 18 hours of usage on a single charge. Additionally, both models come equipped with a 1080p webcam for clear video calls, upgraded Wi-Fi 6E radios, and two Thunderbolt ports alongside a 3.5mm headphone jack.
One of the most exciting enhancements is the ability to connect up to two external displays simultaneously, a feature previously unavailable on MacBook Air models. However, it’s worth noting that this function only works when the laptop lid is closed.
Design-wise, the new MacBook Air models maintain the sleek aluminum enclosure and are available in four stylish color options: midnight, starlight, silver, and space gray.
Interested buyers can already place their pre-orders, with shipping scheduled to begin on March 8. Apple’s decision to discontinue the previous generation MacBook Air with an M1 chip indicates a clear shift towards these advanced M3-powered devices.
