Apple Announced M3 Chips, New MacBook Pro Models & iMac

In the ‘scary fast’ event, Apple announced the all-new M3 chip, MacBook Pro laptops and a new lineup of iMac models. Apple announced three variants of the M3 chip – M3, M3 Pro and M3 Max.

According to Apple, the new MacBook Pro and iMac models will go on sale from next week. There is no difference in terms of design from last year’s models. The new M3 chip is a significant upgrade to MacBook Pro models.

It provides faster processing speeds and longer battery time and is best for developing artificial intelligence applications. Experts from Apple emphasized that these new machines are faster than Intel-based Mac models.

Furthermore, Apple also reduced the price of the 14-inch MacBook Pro base model. Now, customers can buy it for $1599 instead of $1999 with an M3 chip, which is less potent than the Pro-level chip.

M3 chip increases the battery life and Apple claims it will increase the battery life by up to 22 hours on a laptop.

The entry-level M3 chip is less powerful, while the M3 Pro is 40% faster than the M3, and the M3 Max is 250% faster and is best for AI developers and 3D designers.
