Twitter Competitor “Threads” Launched by Meta After Twitter made some unexpected changes, Meta introduced their new micro blogging platform as a direct competitor of Twitter. The Meta’s new Thread app, which was available for pre-orders on Apple App Store, is now integrated with Instagram.

Currently, those who have Instagram accounts can use the Threads app. Soon after the launch of the new app, Meta Owner and founder posted, “Welcome to Threads.” There were more than five million signups to Threads in the first hour. Threads is a text-based conversation app where you exchange thoughts through text.

On social media, it is considered a “Twitter Killer” app. There are rumors that users will move from Twitter to the new Meta app after Threads.

How to Login/Signup to Threads App?

You can download the Threads from the app site or the Android Play Store. After downloading, click on the login from the Instagram option. Once you connect your Instagram account with Threads, you can make changes to your Threads version, such as display pictures, bio, and more.

Your user name will remain the same as that of Instagram. Your Threads account will also be verified if you have a verified Instagram account. According to Meta release, users can post short text posts, and other users can like, re-post, and reply to posts.
