Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning experts are developing a database of human voices that they will use for detecting serious diseases. If the experiment succeeds, your voice’s sound will diagnose the diseases inside your body.
The invention will be capable of diagnosing serious diseases, including Cancer. The National Institute of Health funds the project. This is an effort to take medical science to the next level.
According to the Institute for Computational biomedicine professor Olivier Elemento, sound data is the cheapest of all types of data, and it is easier to collect data from anyone without any issue.
It is a funded project and will cost around USD 14 million over four years.
In the first attempt, the app will be developed where voices will be collected of patients with certain diseases.
