YouTube has introduced a separate podcast section for its customers in the USA. According to experts, the new feature could give Spotify and Apple podcasts tough competition.
9to5Google shared the news. Now users in the USA see a podcast button when they visit youtube.com/podcast. Using the new feature, users can watch podcasts and channels.
Although the new feature is not fully developed in terms of design and user experience, due to the high volume of users on YouTube, it will attract millions.
YouTube is the third video-sharing app where the podcast option has been introduced. Before YouTube, Apple introduced a podcast service in 2005 and then after fourteen years, in 2019, Spotify started the same service for its users.
