Whatsapp is Working on a Secret Code Creation Feature for Locked Chats

WhatsApp is likely to introduce a feature to enhance the performance of its security feature, the ‘Chatlocks’, and unlock them with a single secret code.

The said feature by WhatsApp was introduced in May 2023 this year, but till now, not all users have been given access to the said feature. In the coming time, all Whatsapp users are expected to be given access to it sequentially.

According to the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.21.9 update, under the ‘Chat Lock’ feature, users can keep their favorite chats private or secret.

According to the website ‘Web at Info’, which monitors WhatsApp updates, a secret code feature will soon be introduced to find the chat lock in the folder; hence, it will be easier for those using the chat lock feature of Meta-owned Whatsapp.

A single secret code will allow the user to access all the private chat boxes quickly, and the user will be free to use any word, number, or emoji for the secret code.

When the user enters the above emoji, word, or code numbers in the search bar, all chat lock inboxes will appear in front of them.
