WhatSapp User Will be Able to Create Groups without Names

WhatsApp introduced a new feature for groups. Now, the Meta-owned instant messaging app will let users create new groups without naming them. Before this update, users were supposed to call groups before creation time.

The Meta Founder & CEO Mark Zuckerberg introduced the new feature on his Facebook page and Instagram story. He stated in his post that group creation is now simpler than before.

For unnamed groups, there will be a limit of participants. In a typical WhatsApp group, admins can add up to 1,024 participants, but up to six users can be added to unnamed groups.

WhatsApp will name the anonymous group based on the users added to a group. This way, the group name will differ for each participant. It will display differently for each participant based on the words they have saved on the smartphone.

If a contact name is not added with a participant, the phone number will be be displayed in the group name. In this way, your phone number will be visible.

Today’s new WhatsApp feature makes it more likely for close friends and family members. The part will be released globally in a few weeks.
