Motorola is back with its latest budget-friendly smartphone offerings, the Moto G Power 5G (2024) and Moto G 5G (2024). Both phones pack some impressive features at affordable prices.
Starting with the Moto G Power 5G (2024), it boasts a 6.7-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, perfect for smooth browsing and gaming. The standout feature here is its 50MP camera system with optical image stabilization, ensuring sharp and stable shots.
Plus, it’s powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7020 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, expandable up to 1TB via microSD. The 5000mAh battery supports 30W wired charging and even features 15W wireless charging, which is the first feature of the Moto G series. Available from March 22 at a price of $299.99.
On the other hand, the Moto G 5G (2024) comes with a slightly smaller 6.6-inch display but still offers a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth visuals. It also features a 50MP main camera along with a Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 chipset and 4GB of RAM, ensuring decent performance. The 5000mAh battery provides ample power, albeit with 18W wired charging only. Priced at $199.99, it will hit the market on March 21.
Both phones come with NFC connectivity, Android 14 out of the box, and a water-repellent design. The Moto G Power 5G (2024) will be available at various carriers starting March 22, while the Moto G 5G (2024) will debut on March 21. Unlocked versions will be available shortly after.
