Instagram restores services after partial outage – BKT

Instagram claims the outage has been resolved an hour after it began.

According to Twitter users, Instagram is presently unavailable. The Meta-owned site is now down, with users all around the world complaining about the feed not functioning, issues with checking DMs, and other issues.

According to a number of Twitter users and confirmed by DownDetector, Instagram went down about 9:32 a.m. PT and is currently offline. The reasons for the outage are unknown at this time, although DownDetector indicates that the platform has been attempting to resolve these difficulties.

While some users are only experiencing slowdowns with the Instagram app, others are unable to log in. Some Instagram users are also unable to add new posts to their feed, browse Stories, or receive or send direct messages.

Other indications that Instagram is down:

• Inability to load your “Activity” feed with likes and comments
• Inability to comment on topics
• Browse/Search tab not loading or just showing outdated posts and videos
