Skill hinted a few weeks back that their first 8GHz DDR5 memory kits were almost ready for release. That precise package is now available, taking high-end consumer DDR5 memory to new heights.
Following the release of G. Skill’s new 7800MHz kits, the business has released the Trident Z5 DDR5-8000 32GB kit, which includes two 16GB sticks of 8000MHz DDR5 memory. This kit was tested using an Intel Core i9-13900K CPU and an Asus ROG Maximus Z790 Apex motherboard.
In the AIDA64 memory benchmark, the new kit can achieve memory bandwidth read rates of more than 124GB/s and write speeds of more than 120GB/s.
But this isn’t the only significant news G. Skill has in store for us today. DDR5-10000 rates have also been achieved using G. Skill Trident Z5 memory utilizing only air cooling. This was also accomplished using an Intel Core i9-13900K and a ROG Z790 Apex motherboard.
