iPhone’s Dynamic Island is one of the key features for which iPhone 14 Pro models and iPhone 15 lineup are famous, but this is not the final feature as Apple is looking to something else for future iPhones.
According to TheElec, a Korean news outlet, Apple’s long-term goal is to remove any physical display cutouts from the iPhone models and transform iPhones into all-screen displays.
However, this innovation is not close as this change is expected only after 2026. It means there are chances to see Dynamic Island in the upcoming two models of Apple iPhone.
Currently, LG Innotek is working on Under Display (UD) cameras, which will be based on the company’s Optic Lens system. According to reports, Apple has already received UD camera samples from some of its suppliers, but these are unsatisfactory and not up to mark.
According to the CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC), Apple is expected to launch the iPhone UD Face ID sensor for the Pro series by 2025. The complete transition of the UD Face ID sensor and UD camera is scheduled for 2027
