To significantly increase the accessibility of in-flight, Wi-Fi, T-Mobile and Delta are expanding their partnership. Beginning next month, T-Mobile will offer free in-flight Wi-Fi to all Delta customers, including those who use AT&T or Verizon, two rival carriers.

The news was released this week as part of CES 2023 by T-Mobile and Delta. This new initiative is an expansion of the T-“Coverage Mobile’s Beyond” program, which was introduced last year and provided subscribers with free Wi-Fi access to several American airlines.

The new partnership with Delta is a significant improvement in the availability of in-flight Wi-Fi. It basically means that anyone traveling on a Delta flight will have free in-flight Wi-Fi, which includes support for streaming video. The only requirement is that you must be a Delta Sky Miles member, but joining is free.

Beginning on February 1, free in-flight Wi-Fi will be available on all Delta flights. By the end of this year, “most domestic mainline Delta flights” will be able to use it, and by the end of 2024, international and regional routes will be added.
