According to reports, the refurbished all-in-one would have “relocated and rebuilt” internals.
Gurman says in his monthly Power On the email that the development of two new iMac models has reached “a late stage,” with Apple having recently begun production testing.
Gurman anticipates that commercial manufacturing of the 2023 iMac will not begin for at least three months, although the upgraded versions will have a number of enhancements.
According to Gurman, the new chipset is projected to bring considerable performance and power efficiency advantages due to its use of TSMC’s future 3nm technology.
Gurman further claims that the business intends to use a “new” manufacturing procedure to connect the iMac’s stand.
Along with a new iMac, Gurman claims that Apple will debut the long-rumored 15-inch MacBook Air, as well as an update of the 13-inch model and its first Apple Silicon Mac Pro.
Since that Apple currently provides an M2 version of the ultraportable, Gurman speculates that “at least” the 13-inch device might use Apple’s newest processor.
