The classic Xbox 360 controller from Microsoft will soon be re-released and will be compatible with Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, and PC platforms.
Despite the improvements made to the latest Xbox controllers over the past decade or so, those seeking a nostalgic experience can soon return to the 360 version.
Hyperkin will release a new version of the Xbox 360 controller, named the “Xenon” model, on June 6th this year for $49, which will be compatible with all current-generation Xbox consoles and PCs.
Hyperkin previously released new models of the original Xbox controller, “The Duke,” to celebrate the gaming brand’s 20th anniversary. It’s unclear whether Hyperkin and Xbox will continue this collaboration in the future, but it’s exciting to see popular controllers like this given a second life years later.
