Users of WhatsApp have good news! The platform, which Meta owns, has revealed that it will soon be launching a new interface to enhance communication while sharing channel updates with Status.
This new interface aims to improve user experience and boost status reply participation. Some beta testers may be able to use the new UI after downloading the most recent WhatsApp beta for Android 2.24.1.6 update from the Google Play Store, claims WABetaInfo.
But in the upcoming weeks, more people will be able to access it.
The improved interface addresses an issue with the chat attachment sheet.
To clarify that anything posted on Status comes from a channel, WhatsApp will design a unique look for the channel update.
You can also share a channel update to your status to see if this functionality is already active for your account. This can be accomplished most quickly by sending a channel update.
Additionally, WhatsApp has added a second entry point to the status subtitle, enabling users to browse and examine the material from the related channel quickly.
