Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR)
The Philippines is now the world’s biggest iGaming market due to the iGaming licenses provided by PAGCOR (Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation). PAGCOR, the regulatory body responsible for overseeing and licensing gaming operations in the Philippines, was established in 1976. PAGCOR operates under the direct control of the Office of the President of the Philippines.
As the sole licensing authority, PAGCOR plays a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and transparency of the gaming industry within the country. PAGCOR licenses onshore casinos and some offshore casinos, known as BOGOS (Based Offshore Gaming Operators), and both are strictly regulated. The Malta Gaming License can be used in countries that allow online gambling, but it is not valid in places that are under FATF sanctions. Many people recognize the importance of the Malta Gaming License, as it allows companies to operate online gambling businesses in markets where it is not specifically prohibited.
Furthermore, because Malta is part of the European Union, there are no restrictions on obtaining a gaming license from Malta within the EU. iGaming Ontario (iGO)
iGaming Ontario (iGO) is a new organization that was formed to oversee the growth and development of online gambling in Ontario. It was established in response to the approval of Bill C-218 by Canadian politicians in June 2021, which lifted the ban on single-game betting across the country.
iGO operates as a subordinate organization supervised by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO), which is the governing body in the area. Curacao Gaming Authority (CGA)
The Curacao Gaming Control Board (GCB) regulates the land-based casino industry in Curacao.
