In the first week of January 2024, Apple is expected to begin bulk shipments of its new Vision Pro headset. TF International Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo reported details about the latest happening.
A recent update by Kuo predicted that by 2024, Vision Pro will be Apple’s most important device. In addition, the analyst believes that mass production has already started, even though significant shipments are supposed to be created by next month (January 2024).
In 2024, 500,000 units are anticipated to be shipped. Vision Pro is currently in production, and mass shipments will begin the first week of January 2024.
Kuo projects that Vision Pro will go on sale in late January or early February. The analyst also points out that if Vision Pro does better than expected, it might confirm the prediction that AR/VR headsets will be the newest and most important developments in consumer electronics.
If customer response to the device is better than expected, the market consensus that “Vision Pro is the next star product in consumer electronics” and the supply chain stock price that supports it will be strengthened.
