Samsung's New Portable SSD T9 Can Transfer 10GB data in Just 5 Seconds

Samsung announced the new portable storage device, Portable SSD T9, which features USB 3.2 and Gen 2×2 interface.

The updated technology makes the portable SSD storage one of the fastest read and write speeds. According to details, the SSD T9 of Samsung will be capable of speeding up the transfer rate to 2,000MBs per second, more than double that of the T7 portable drive.

It is essential to know that the T7 SSD used a Gen 2×1 interface. To maintain the peak performance of the T9 SSD, Samsung integrated the Dynamic Thermal Guard technology into it.

The Dynamic Thermal Guard technology helps resolve potential slowdown due to thermal throttling. Users will now be able to transfer a 10GB file within five seconds.

T9 SSD storage device is available in three capacities: 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB. The physical dimensions are 88 x 60 x 14mm for all three degrees with 122g weight.

The external case of the hard drive gives a cloth-like texture and feel. It is also secure storage and can handle the drop from heights of up to 3 meters. For the security of data, it provides AES 256-bit hardware encryption.
