Samsung Galaxy S24 Series to Get 7 Years of Software Updates

 Excitement is growing as the clock is running out! With less than 56 hours remaining, Samsung’s Unpacked 2024 event is rapidly coming.

The SAP Centre in San Jose, California, will host the event introducing the Samsung Galaxy S24 series. On January 17, starting at 11:30 p.m. IST, you may watch the live broadcast on Samsung.com, Samsung Newsroom, and Samsung’s YouTube official channel.

However, rumors have been circulating Ahead of the highly anticipated event, and the most recent ones show that the Samsung S24 series may receive software upgrades for up to seven years.

According to Android Headlines, the Galaxy S24 series is expected to receive extended 7-year software and OS support, which would allow updates up to Android version 21. 

Notably, Samsung has been committed to offering four years of major OS upgrades and five years of security updates for its flagship phones since 2020.

Leaked images of the Samsung Galaxy S24 series indicate significant camera upgrades, especially in the S24 Ultra, with a potential 2x increase in optical quality zoom and AI-powered improvements in image editing.
