On January 29th, Realme is set to launch the much-anticipated Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+ smartphones. The manufacturer has shared more details about these advanced gadgets in preparation for the upcoming event.
Realme has announced that the Realme 12 Pro will have a Sony camera sensor, just like its Pro+ variant. The regular version will feature an IMX882 sensor, while its sibling was confirmed to have an IMX890 sensor earlier this week. Additionally, the phone is listed on the company website with a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset.
The camera sensor details are still unconfirmed, but there’s a good chance that the Realme 12 Pro will be the first device to have this technology. These sensors are known for taking excellent pictures, making them a great choice for photography enthusiasts. The Pro+ version boasts a 64-megapixel OV64B periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens. The Pro has a 16-megapixel front camera for selfies, while the Pro+ features a more powerful 32-megapixel front camera.
The upcoming Realme 12 Pro series is expected to offer a robust configuration with up to 12 GB of RAM and a spacious 256 GB of storage designed to meet the needs of enthusiastic users. Notably, the inclusion of a powerful 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging ensures extended connectivity, allowing users to stay engaged without the hassle of frequent recharging.
Realme introduced the Realme 12 Pro+ at CES 2024 in Las Vegas in January, showcasing it as the first mid-range smartphone with a periscope camera. More information about these new products will be shared on January 29th. Stay tuned for exciting updates.
