According to the Chief Technology Officer Leon Bierhls of the institute, Instagram is the worst app for iPhone users’ battery.

According to them, deleting the Facebook app can save up to 20 percent of battery and Instagram up to 25 percent.
Furthermore, apps that are running in the background also cause a drain of the battery.
They are suggesting that deleting unwanted social media apps helps improve the battery life by up to 25 percent.
