Oppo and OnePlus Stop Phone Sales in Germany

Since the court decision was made in favor of Nokia, Oppo and OnePlus have not stopped selling their smart devices, including smartphones and watches,s in Germany and European country. Nokia was sued over Standard Essential patents, also known as SEP.

After the court verdict, the online stores of both Oppo and OnePlus seem empty, and there are no smart devices listed. Oppo German has nothing to show. However, the OnePlus website still offers smartphones and smartwatches, but there is no add to cart or buy button.

OnePlus only sells headphones and other accessories. According to the OnePlus communications director, they are working with legal parties and will soon resolve the matter. For now, the sale of their products is on hold.

According to sources of GSMArena, OnePlus and Oppo sued Nokia for high fee demand for the two SEPs. For now, the Oppo and OnePlus users are only affected in Germany, but other regions of Europe can still enjoy these products.

Both OnePlus and Oppo can counter appeal, so some more developments are soon to happen in this case.
