Apple is preparing to release a range of new products this spring, as per the report by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. The updated models of iPad Pro and MacBook Air are among the products set to launch. However, there is no separate launch event scheduled for these devices. Apple is expected to announce them through its website and marketing campaigns.
The new lineup includes two iPad Pro models featuring the M3 chip and OLED displays, a refreshed iPad Air lineup with a 12.9-inch variant, a new Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro, and updated MacBook Air models with the M3 chip.
Sources suggest that a “special version” of iOS 17.4, tailored to support the new hardware, is slated for release in late March. This hints at a possible launch timeframe for the devices, likely in March or April.
While details remain scarce, rumors indicate modest upgrades for the iPad and MacBook lineup. These include slimmer designs for the iPad Pro, longer battery life, and MagSafe support, along with minor spec bumps for the MacBook Air models.
This marks a departure from Apple’s usual practice of holding events to unveil new products, but aligns with its previous approach for announcing updates through press releases.
