Microsoft Starts Testing Tabs in NotePad App for Windows 11

After an internal incidentally leaked update from a Microsoft employee, the computer technology company is already starting the test of tabs in Notepad.

The new update to the famous Windows Notepad app will help Windows 11 users handle multiple files in a single Notepad.

The new feature is similar to the ‘File Explorer app in Windows 11. The company is also testing some new keyboard shortcuts that will help MS Windows 11 users manage tabs better and faster.

There are also improvements made to the management of unsaved files. After File Explorer, Notepad is the second app that gets tabs. Besides this update, Microsoft is also working on graphics settings such as GPU preference, Auto HDR, games graphics, and the UI design of Windows 11.
