Today, Keychron fills that need with the Q1 Pro.
Of course, Keychron has been creating wireless boards for years, primarily separately from its high-end designs.
The Q1 Pro is visually identical to the present wired-only Q1 keyboard, and it retains the popular 75% layout, programmable dial, dual-gasket mount, and hot-swappable key switches.
In terms of wireless connectivity, the design offers Bluetooth 5.1 for rapid connections to up to three devices and a 4000mAh battery that should last for months if the RGB lighting is turned off.
As is Keychron’s custom, the Q1 Pro is being launched as a Kickstarter project today.
Black, metal, and white are the available colours, with cyan, purple, and orange accent keys.
If sales remain strong, Keychron will likely release wireless “Pro” variants for its other Q keyboards in the future.
