To improve users’ privacy, WhatsApp’s latest version can hide your IP address from third-party actors.

This feature is available for both iOS and Android users. The newest privacy protection feature will hide your IP address through WhatsApp servers; no one can see your location.

Besides this, now you can silence unknown callers.

How to Enable Protect IP Feature on WhatsApp?

You can enable the IP protection feature on your system by visiting Settings > Privacy > Advanced > Protect IP Address in Calls.

The only drawback is that your call quality might be compromised as your call will pass through WhatsApp servers, which means a third-party app will be involved in this process.
