Google Docs Users Now Will Sign Online Documents Digtially

Google has announced a new major change to Google Docs by adding eSignature support for Google Drive & Docs. The new change is designed to streamline the signature process and make this process faster and make it happen within Google Drive’s platform.

After a long wait in the alpha, the eSignature option is now moved to beta which means that we will see this feature shortly. All the major competitors of Google Drive such as Dropbox and other document editing tools like Adobe Acrobat are already providing this facility.

This new functionality means that users will complete the documents within the Drive rather than moving between multiple apps to get the signature.

Google stated that initially the signature facility will be limited to Gmail users but Google aims to expand of eSignature to non-Gmail users shortly.
