Chrome Can’t Load Web Pages

Several Mac users have reported the failure of Google Chrome to open a website. If Chrome can’t load queried web pages, you cannot access the target content. This issue could arise because of poor internet connection, Chrome being outdated, or unresponsive Chrome extensions. Check and fix the internet connection if it is the reason. If not, locate the unresponsive extensions and either delete or disable them. Again, if the problem persists, navigate to the Chrome menu and select “About”. Check for updates and update your Google Chrome.

Chrome Crashing

One major common flaw is frequent crashing. There are a couple of factors that trigger Chrome crashing, including rogue extensions or piled up browsing data among others. Common fixes to Chrome crashing issues include a review of existing Chrome extensions, deleting browser data, restarting your Mac, or Uninstalling Chrome. While the traditional way of uninstalling Chrome cannot get rid of all related files, you should leverage a proper uninstaller tool to get rid of files effectively then clean install the browser.

Google Chrome Freezes

This is another common issue that makes your computer unable to do anything on your Mac device. When this happens, you ought to be cautious because you can end up losing crucial unsaved files/data. You can choose to Force Quit or reboot your Mac device. To Force Quit, simply hold the combination of Command + Option + Escape keys and select Chrome application to close it. To reboot your Mac, simply long-press the power button or some seconds. If the two options fail, disconnect your computer from the power source. To avoid losing unsaved information, restart your Mac computer in Safe Mode.

Chrome Runs Slow

It is sucking when Chrome takes time to load yet the internet connection is stable. Some of the major contributors to Chrome’s slow web connection are several active tabs, extensions that slow Chrome, and file downloads. To speed up your Chrome on Mac, clear Chrome browsing history/data to free up memory or uninstall unnecessary extensions. If it persists, restart your computer and check whether Chrome speed is enhanced.

Chrome Cannot Update

If your Chrome fails to update on Mac, there is no need to panic. Before proceeding, make sure the internet speed is okay. Another thing that might be hindering a successful Chrome update is system requirements and permissions. Navigate to Chrome settings> Advanced Settings>Reset Settings,>Reset.
