Android 14 update is now available for the Asus Zenfone 10. Global models, including those sold in the EU, receive the latest stable Android update. To avail and install the update, your Zenfone 10 must be running the software version 33.0220.0220.101.
You can manually check for the update by navigating to Settings > System > System updates if you have not received the update notification. Before continuing, Asus highly suggests you back up your data because “some third-party apps are not compatible with Android 14 yet.”
After downloading and installing the 1.3GB update, the new version will be 34.1004.0204.65. It may take a few days for the update to spread to every Zenfone 10 device, so if you cannot see the latest update on your phone, wait a few days.
There are new updates, such as a new way to display battery usage. There is also support for the new “Photos and Videos” permission part, and the new system photo picker is also mentioned in the changelog. Along with these mentioned improvements, there are changes to Bluetooth connectivity (headset disconnections and noise issues have been fixed) and fixes for speakerphone call echo issues.
Revamp of Mobile Manager, Contacts, Phone, Emergency Dialer, File Manager, Calculator, Clock, Gallery, Weather, Sound Recorder, Settings, Phone Clone, Local backup, and Launcher are other changes you will see on your phone when you upgrade the operating system to 14.
