All about EMUI 11 – Features, Launch Date, and Huawei & Honor Eligible Devices

In the recently concluded Huwai Developer Conference 2020, the company is all set to introduce the new EMUI Version, the EMUI 11. Although the current version of Huawei EMUI is not reached to all the company’s devices the new one is on its way which is quite strange for some users.

The company’s new EMUI aims to bring some new changes to the overall user interface and will also make the overall experience easier and professional.

EMUI 11 Features

Talking about the new features, the new EMUI 11 contains some clock themes, a Multi-window theme, artistic on display, Animations are smoother & friendly, allows a better multi-screen availability. There are plenty of more that will be leaked by the company with the passage of time.

The Notepad app of the Huawei EMUI 10 is all revamped in the new software update. The company is trying to focus on the notepad app in order to make it the “Super NotePad”. The new app will be capable of taking notes from multiple devices at a time.

The new EMUI 11 is based on the latest Android 11. Looking at this, it is highly expected that the new EMUI will be a major update to the Chinese brand of smartphones.

If you look at the release date of EMUI 11, there is no such announcement from the company regarding its release.

EMUI 11 Supported Devices

Some of the eligible devices which will be upgraded to EMUI 11 right after its launch are the following.

The Huawei Mate series which include Mate 30, 30 Pro simple & 5G, Mate 20 (including 20 X, 20 X 5G, 20 X 4G), Mate X & Xs, Mate 20 Porsche RS, and Mate 30 RS Porsche Design.

The EMUI 11 is supported by the P series of Huawei which include P40, P40 Pro, P40 Pro plus, P40 Lite, P30, and P30 Pro.

In Nova Series, the new software update will be supported on Nova 5, 5T, 5 Pro, 5i, 5i Pro, Nova 6, 65G, Nova 7, 7 Pro, and 7 SE.

It is also supported by the Huwaei Tablets such as MatePad Pro, MatePad, and MedaPad M6.

The Huawei sister company, Honor phones are also supported by EMUI 11 with Magic UI 4. These devices include Honor 20, 20 Pro, the 20S, 20 Youth Edition, Honor 9X & 9X Pro, Honor 30, 30 Pro, 30 Pro Plus, Honor 30S, Honor V30, V30 Pro, and V20.
