You select the artists and the amount of diversity you desire, and the algorithm does the rest.
Google Music users can now build bespoke stations based on individual artists and fine-tune how the algorithm determines which songs to play. The “Radio Builder” feature became available on Tuesday and can be accessed by going to the “Your music tuner” area of the YouTube Music site on the iOS or Android app.
While creating your personalized station, you can choose up to 30 artists and choose whether you want to hear exclusive music from them or songs from related performers. You may also instruct it to play the music you know, new songs to you, or a combination of the two, and add filters to fine-tune the mix.
According to Google spokesperson Paul Pennington, you may utilize the service, which will be available any place you can receive YouTube Music, whether you’re a paid member or a free user.
