The famous messaging and video-sharing platform Whatsapp is introducing new AI features. Meta, owned and used by more than 2.7 billion users around the globe, is continuously testing new user interfaces and technology-oriented features.
The most famous messaging app is now adding AI-generated profile photos to the latest beta version of Whatsapp 2.24.11.17. Previously, they successfully tested the AI-generated stickers. WABetaInfo revealed this new update in the latest beta version 2.24.11.17.
According to reports, the feature will be visible in the user’s profile picture settings. AI-generated photos’ functionality is similar to that of previously released AI stickers.
With the pencil/edit feature, users have to describe the image features they want to generate, and the AI feature will draw precisely the same model. Users have to describe the image features through the Meta AI feature.
Once Meta AI generates the image, users must save and upload it like any profile photo. This is another step towards protecting end users’ privacy.
It is a good feature for those who want to avoid uploading their photo on the messaging app. The exact release date of this feature still needs to be revealed, but it is around the corner.
